OBSERVE IN A CLASSROOM & PROSPECTIVE PARENT MEETING
If you are interested in our Toddler and/or Children’s House program, please complete the on-line inquiry form and our Admissions Coordinator will contact you to schedule an observation and prospective parent meeting. If applicable, it is preferable that both parents attend. These visits are for adults only so you may give your full attention to what you are seeing.
Immediately after the classroom observation, the prospective family will have a 30 minute interview with the Admissions Coordinator. You will discuss your impressions of your classroom observations and ask any questions you might have about our program.
Toddler – We have a wait list for children who are 24 months+ as of August 2017.
Children’s House – We have a wait list for all ages.
The most important factor to qualify an applicant for acceptance is the match between the family’s educational goals for the child and the Montessori philosophy. Qualified applicants are then selected for available spaces with a focus on maintaining a balance of genders and ages in each classroom. When a position is offered, you must secure the position with a nonrefundable tuition deposit equal to one half of the published monthly tuition within 3 business days or forfeit the position. If a space is not available, qualified applicants will be placed on the Toddler or Children’s House waiting list. You will be notified by phone or e-mail when a space becomes available.
If the parents and the educational team decide that enrollment is the right decision for everyone, the online enrollment information will be sent via email.
True to the Montessori philosophy, classes are filled with an emphasis on balancing gender and ages. We strongly believe in the strength and integrity of all Keystone classrooms. It is the policy of Keystone Montessori School not to accept parent requests for specific classroom placements. Placement will be determined by the educational team.
Elementary & Adolescent
Retention and interest in our Charter Elementary and Adolescent Program is high. Historically we have only been able to accommodate a few students from our wait list. If you are interested in learning more about our charter program, please complete the online inquiry form and the Admissions Coordinator will contact you to schedule a tour. Tours are given Monday and Friday by appointment only. Once you have completed a tour, you will be invited to complete an application to place your child on the wait list.
To remain on the charter wait list for the following school year, you must contact the Admissions Coordinator at firstname.lastname@example.org each January to roll over your wait list application.
